Mid-Michigan Energy goes through a lengthy process to determine if it will build in Midland

Mid-Michigan Energy is in the early stages of community dialogue and obtaining the permits, approvals and contracts necessary to be able to construct the project.  This process is expected to continue over the next few years with a targeted commencement of construction in 2009 and, with an approximately 4-year construction period, a targeted commercial operation date in 2013.  A decision to build the power plant won’t be made until all of the permits, approvals and contracts are in place.
